“As a Nurse Practitioner, I strive to embody the principles I teach my patients by maintaining my own well being.”

Provider Spotlight: Madison Bloom

Madison is a graduate of Michigan State University with her Bachelor’s in Nursing, she then continued her education through Wayne State University for her DNP. For her doctoral project, she focused on teaching mental health first aid to the university staff that work with Veteran students. Madison strongly believes that mental health is a critical aspect of providing holistic care and is excited to continue to apply the skills she has learned into her future practice. Something that has drawn Madison to rheumatology is how as a specialty, providers are truly able to view the patient as a whole and provide the best possible care. Madison grew up in Jackson and still visits her family that live there frequently. Currently Madison lives in the metro Detroit area with her husband Josh, dog Yogi, and two cats Jax and Pippa. Madison and her husband share a passion for traveling as well as animal rescue. Most recently their travels have taken them to Croatia and Germany. Madison has fostered many cats and dogs, and is currently fostering her tenth dog. Over the next few months Madison is excited to establish relationships with her new patients and re-introduce hot yoga into her self care routine.
